Albuquerque, N.M. — Have a question about heart disease, the symptoms and healthy heart living? Optum is once again providing opportunities to ask a doctor a question.

Please join us for the Optum Cardiology Patient Support Group & Interactive Educational meeting Saturday, August 23 from 10am-12pm held in the Gibson Medical Center Auditorium, 5400 Gibson Blvd. SE, The speakers will include Michelle Khoo, MD – Cardiologist, Optum and Samuel Sears, Ph.D., Professor at East Carolina University, Departments of Psychology and Cardiovascular Science. Both will focus on the “Psychological Effects of Heart Disease” and living a ‘heart smart’ lifestyle. This is a free event to anyone interested and lunch will be provided. RSVP to Johanna at 262-7280. Space is limited.

If you cannot make it, you still have an opportunity to ask a doc a question via social media. Michelle Khoo, MD and Samuel Sears, Ph.D. will be available to instantaneously answer questions submitted using the hashtag #AskABQHeartDocs. Follow Optum on Twitter at @abqhp to join the conversation.
