Adolescent Issues

Due to the diversity of the health requirements during the adolescent stage our care involves many aspects of the teenager’s life. This includes physical development, nutrition, body image, emotional well-being, academic success and psychosocial well-being. Our goal is to see all of our adolescents yearly in order to determine any risk factors that may affect any of the above areas.

    • Pediatric nutrition – which may be addressed by our nutritionist
    • Skin/acne problems
    • Academic difficulties
    • Risk taking behaviors such as recreational drug use or risky sexual behaviors
    • Contraception
    • Healthy exercise
